He discovered the world of vineyards and press-houses as a photographer, and has illustrated more than 30 books on viticulture and oenology. He has collaborated in publishing with such distinguished authors as David Copp, Michael Broadbent, József Laposa, Gábor Rohály.
In 2014, he was awarded the Grand Jury Prize in the "Professional" category of the international Terroir d'Images photography competition for his photo "The Great Ceremony Begins", which he received in the Palais de Luxembourg in Paris. After completing the WSET basic course, he has been serving Hungarian wine culture not only with his photos but also with his articles. He is the senior editor of the magazine Wine and Market (Bor és Piac).
His work as a wine writer won him the "Par Excellence" award in the category "Professional Writer" in 2018 and in 2022 he was the category winner of the Word Wine WebWineWriting competition. He is a member of the National Association of Hungarian Journalists, the Hungarian Wine Academy and the Hungarian Sommelier Association. He is a Knight of the Tokaj Wine Order, the L'Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (Paris) and the Confrérie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs (Paris).
