Edit Szab\u00f3 has been closely following the world of wine and gastronomy for a quarter of a century. As an editor at Hungarian Television she made several wine-themed portrait films, and continued her work in this field as programme director of TV Paprika. Later, for seven years, she wrote and edited the magazine Top 100 Wine, published by N\u00e9pszabads\u00e1g, and since 2016 she has been the editor-in-chief of her own magazine, Borsmenta. She is a restless and curious journalist who is also interested in the people behind the wines. Her first book, The Great Chef's Book, is about top Hungarian chefs, her second book, Weaker? No! is about women winemakers, but she is also the author of the \"chef's novel\", Closed in a Chef's Coat, in which Frigyes Vomberg tells his life story. In recognition of her work, she was awarded the L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Bussay Memorial Prize in 2018 and the title of Friend of Winemakers in 2020. Since its foundation, she has been a spokesperson of the Hungarian Circle of Wine Writers. As a writer, journalist, communications consultant, programme organiser and presenter, she does her best to serve the cause of Hungarian wine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
